TRASHCAN
As the name suggests, the trashcan is a place where unwanted files
can be dumped. This allows the retrieval of these files at a later
date. If you delete a file using the delete command it cannot be
retrieved without the use of a salvage utility, in other words, the
trashcan gives you a second chance.
