PC Utilities

Even in 1987 Commodore had observed the usefulness of having at least some compatibility with the PC. This led to the inclusion of 4 utilities for the reading of PC disks. These can be found on the Extras disk.

PCCopy- Allows the Amiga to access and copy files from a PC disk.

PCFormat- Allows the Amiga to format PC disks.

ToPCCopy- Allows the Amiga to copy files to PC disks.

ReadME- A text file explaining how to use the utilities.

These files were very rudimentary in accessing PC disks. At the time, Commodore weren't distributing CrossDOS, which allowed PC disks to be treated as if they were Amiga ones. If you want to see exactly what any of these utilities were like they can be found in the MessyDos distribution.
