This problem can be encountered on any removable media, not just the Zip. If you have a LS120 or EZ drive follow these instructions. If you have wrote a Rigid Disk Block (RDB) to the Zip disk and set it to mount the disk, then decided to use a Mountlist, simply load the prepping software that you use and change Mount to "No" and resave the RDB. This will mean that only the mountlist will attempt to mount the drive.
