The BIG decision: RGB or TV.

The RGB signal makes the display look better as it is translating the Amiga's video output through the RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) directly to the monitor's own RGB circuitry. When using a TV the Amigas RGB signal has to be translated into a modulated signal, combining the RGB signal and then sending them to the TV. The TV has to then convert the signal back into RGB so the TV can also display. The demodulation and modulation processor causes the signal to loose quality, resulting in a poorer display. This can be easily remedied by buying a monitor or use an RGB compatible TV.
