When I transfer a text file from PC to the Amiga, or viseversa the line endings are messed up. What can I do?

This is caused by the fact that PCs are so incompatible with everything else that Microsoft decided to declare their own standard on linefeeds. All you need to do is load the CrossDos program, located in Commodities. A window should now appear displaying different boxes. Select PC0: and click in the boxes marked "Text translation" and Text filtering. Save the file and load the text file.
