When using the PPC cards, would running PPC software freeze Workbench and other non-PPC applications?

No, there seems to have been a misunderstanding on how the two processors (68k and PPC) would communicate. Phase 5 have managed to decrease the amount of time needed to switch between processors. However, the driver software for the PowerPC is still being updated and so may change making some software incompatible.
