I have a number of LHA files. How can I dearchive them on a PC?

Lha is a relatively unpopular compression format on the PC so there are only a few to choose from. They run from MS-DOS although it is possible to set it up using WinZip or any other graphical archiver. They are both able to handle long filenames but have problems running from Winzip, and can be downloaded from:

ftp.imab.tu-clausthal.de/pub/PC/Packer/LHA_E.EXE

ftp.sound.net/pub/NewTek/Utilities/Intel/Lhant.exe
