Infomedia TVision

TVision

A strategic partnership between Infomedia & Amiga Inc. was announced on August 16th 2000. Similar to the Viscorp ED of previous years, the TVision was intended for the consumer set-top box market. It offered network connectivity through an Ethernet RJ45 connection, as well as Bluetooth facility, to connect to mobile phones, digital cameras, and PDAs - an interesting feature that would not gain mainstream acceptance for three years. As part of their deal, Infomedia would use the Amiga DE and Amiga-produced content to provide services for TVision users'.

The TVision was released in limited numbers. However, Amiga Inc. were unable to provide any content for the device.
