Trouble with Hard Drives

The hard drive obviously has a problem handling the IDE reset signal. The best way of curing this is to cut pin 1 on the IDE cable (the one with the stripe, usually). This may mean that your hard drive may spin up slightly slower, meaning a warm reset will be required.
