How do I install a CD driver?

This is only a general guide to installing the CD drivers. If your CD driver comes with an installation disk or instructions for that specific drive follow them instead. Remember, if you have a SCSI drive you must terminate the drive if it is the last one on the SCSI chain.

Firstly copy the CD0 icon into your DEVS:DOSDRIVERS/ drawer. This will tell the Amiga that a CD drive is connected to a particular port. If you drive comes with a handler file (a file ending with -Handler) copy the icon to your L directory on your boot drive. If it is a device file (a file ending with .Device), copy the icon to the DEVS: drawer.

Reset your Amiga and enjoy the wonderful world of CD-ROM..
