Can I use an A500 keyboard with a CD32?

You just need a cable to use an A500 keyboard with the CD32, . If you wire a 5pin DIN plug then you can use it on an A2000 or A3000, and add a standard AT to PS/2 adapter for the CD32 or A4000.

The only disadvantage is the CD32 keyboard reset won't work, but this doesn't matter because you have a reset button on your console.

The wiring connections required are:

Signal A500 Keyboard A2000 (DIN) CD32 (MiniDIN)
Data 1 (Black) 1 1
Clock 2 (Brown) 2 3
Reset 3 (Red) 3 -
+5V 4 (Orange) 5 5
- 5 (Yellow) - -
GND 6 (Green) 4 2
PWR LED 7 (Blue) - -
FDD LED 8 (Violet) - -
