My Blizzard 1260 seems to be running slowly since I installed a new version of the Phase 5 software. What can I do?

All auto configuration boards have a small ROM required to set up the auto config system and to identify themselves to the ES menu. Many Blizzard boards have the code stored in a Flash ROM so that it can be updated later. This may cause the system to run slower, etc. There is a 7k hack on Aminet called speedup.lha in the hard/hack directory that allegedly increases the speed of the accelerator. Be warned that this may have dangerous effect on your system so read all the documentation before trying it. I take no responsibility for any problems that occur as a result of using this.
