When I boot my Amiga, the clock has reset to September 1992. What can I do?

It sounds as if the battery is flat. Alter the time through the clock preferences and reboot your machine. If the wrong time is showing then you need a new battery. This is quite easy to replace with only a metal clip supporting it. Move the clip to one side, the battery should slide out easily, replace with a nice new one. The type of battery you have can vary according to the make of accelerator you own. The battery type can be found by contacting the board manufacturers or posting a message on Usenet or any of the numerous Amiga mailing lists. I do know that most Apollo accelerators use a CR2032 lithium battery. These can be obtained from a number of popular stores.
