QuickTime on the Amiga

QuickTime, for people who do not know, is an animation format on the Mac and PowerMac. Apple have released a version for Windows based systems but they forgot about the Amiga, so a number of PD alternatives are available. The best of the lot is CyberQT, a QuickTime player that spools the file from hard disk, meaning you do not need 50Mb of ram to load view that 50Mb file you downloaded off the internet. It can also use a graphics board to display in 24-bit. However, it does not support the newer variations such as QuickTimeVR.
